Reservations
Reservations is where every booking — phone-in, online, or walk-in conversion — lands. The page is a split view: a live floor plan on the left and tonight's booking list on the right. You'll drag a guest onto the table they're seated at, and the system handles the rest (status changes, dwell-time tracking, post-visit email).

How to use it
- 1
Drop your tables on the floor plan
Open Settings → Floor Plan the first time and drag rectangles onto the canvas — one per real table. Set a name (T1, Bar 3, Patio) and a seat count. Floor plan changes flow through to the booking grid, the KDS, and the QR order pages instantly. - 2
Turn on online bookings
Toggle Online bookings on the Reservations page header. Diners land on your public restaurant page, pick a date, time, and party size, and the booking appears here in real time. SMS/email confirmation goes out automatically (you can edit the templates under Settings → Notifications). - 3
Drag guests onto tables when they arrive
When a party walks in, drag their card from the right-hand list onto a table on the floor plan. The table flips to Seated (orange) and dwell-time starts counting. Tap the table again to clear it when they pay. - 4
Watch capacity in real time
The cover-count chip up top shows tonight's total covers vs. your tier's monthly cap. On Free / Starter you'll see a warning when you're 80% through the month — Growth and Pro are uncapped.
Gotchas & tips
Walk-ins seated from the queue page also show up here — but the waitlist itself is a separate sidebar tab. If a walk-in is about to arrive, leave them on the waitlist; only seat them on the floor plan when they're actually at the table.
Confirmation emails fire from the per-restaurant SMTP setting. Make sure that's green under Settings → Integrations or guests will get nothing.
