Orders & Pre-orders
The Orders page is a Kanban view of every order in flight — New, In progress, Ready, Closed — across QR Pay & Order, server-entered tickets, and pre-orders attached to bookings. Drag a ticket between columns to advance its status manually; the Kitchen Display does most of this automatically.

How to use it
- 1
Open a tab from the floor plan
When a server takes an order at the table, tap the table on the Reservations floor plan and choose + Order. The cart opens, you build the order, and it lands in the New column on this page. - 2
Accept incoming QR orders
QR Pay & Order tickets land in New automatically. Tap the card to confirm and move it to In progress — that fires it to the Kitchen Display. New tickets pulse so you don't miss them in a busy service. - 3
Take a pre-order
On the Reservations page, expand a booking and tap Add pre-order. Pick items now; they appear under Pre-orders on this page until the booking time approaches, then auto-fire to the kitchen so the table's food lands moments after they sit. - 4
Bump and close
When the kitchen finishes a ticket, the Kitchen Display bumps it — it slides into Ready here and a runner notification fires. Once delivered to the table, the runner taps Closed.
Gotchas & tips
A “closed” order is still editable for refunds for the rest of the shift. After end-of-day, refunds need to go through Stripe directly — the dashboard shows you the link.
Free tier doesn't expose + New order — that's a server-entered ticket which requires Starter for the workforce + table-management features. Free can still take orders via QR Pay & Order at the table.
