Menu
The Menu page is the canonical source of truth for every dish you sell. Edit it once and the changes propagate to the public restaurant page, QR Pay & Order, the Kitchen Display, and any delivery aggregator you're wired up to.

How to use it
- 1
Create your categories
Categories are the top-level grouping diners see — Starters, Mains, Desserts, Drinks. Drag them in the order you want them to appear. Categories with zero active items are hidden from public surfaces automatically. - 2
Add items
Click into a category and tap + Item. Each item needs a name, price, and category; a description and photo are strongly recommended (they pull conversion on QR Pay & Order). Mark allergens — those icons follow the dish everywhere. - 3
Wire up modifiers
For dishes with options (steak doneness, milk choice, side swap), open the item and add modifier groups. Set min/max picks and per-modifier price deltas. The QR cart and KDS both honour them. - 4
Translate it
Top-right of each item, the language switcher lets you fill in Arabic, French, etc. Translations cascade so a diner whose browser is Arabic sees Arabic everywhere — public page, QR cart, receipt.
Gotchas & tips
Toggling an item to Out of stock hides it everywhere instantly, including in baskets in flight (the QR cart will surface it as unavailable on next refresh). Use this rather than deleting.
Linking an item to a recipe is what powers auto-deduct from inventory and the auto-PO emails. See Tools → Recipe Costing — set ingredient quantities once and stock starts dropping with every order.
